Andrew Kositkun is vice president and interbank foreign exchange trader for City National Bank. He is responsible for managing the bank’s G10 foreign currency liquidity and positioning, market research and analysis and commentary.
Before assuming his current position in 2016, Mr. Kositkun worked as an assistant vice president in City National Bank’s Capital Finance group.
Prior to joining City National in 2013, Mr. Kositkun was at Standard Chartered Bank. He began his financial services career on the equity trading desk at Kayne Anderson.
Mr. Kositkun earned an MBA, with an emphasis in finance, from the University of California, Los Angeles where he was teaching assistant for advanced finance courses. Andrew also earned a bachelor’s degree in business economics from UCLA where he graduated with high honors.
A resident of Westwood, Calif., Mr. Kositkun is an active volunteer with City National’s award-winning literacy initiative, Reading is The way up® and mentorship program. Additionally he coaches youth sports as well as works with an animal rescue group.
