Cyber crooks are increasingly targeting law firms that are involved in international mergers and acquisitions.

This is especially common with deals involving Chinese companies, says Stewart Baker, partner in Steptoe & Johnson, and former Assistant Secretary for Policy at the Department of Homeland Security. But, Baker says, it happens in negotiations in many other places around the globe, as well.
