In a Los Angeles Times op-ed article titled “The GOP's Tax Attack on Blue States," City National Chairman and CEO Russell Goldsmith writes about the Trump administration's and congressional Republican's proposed tax reform.
If enacted, the proposed legislation would end the federal deduction for state and local income and property taxes.
In the article, Goldsmith writes that this proposed reform would not only punish California and other productive and high-tax states, but also endanger their vital job-creating urban economies.
