LOS ANGELES, Jun 17, 2002 (BUSINESS WIRE) - Following his victory in NewMexico's Democratic gubernatorial primary election, former U.S. Energy SecretaryBill Richardson has resigned his seat on the board of directors of City NationalCorporation and City National Bank, the company announced today.

Richardson was elected to City National's boards on July 25, 2001.
