LOS ANGELES – City National Bank announced today that Judith M. Lu and Michael Scott have joined the Private Client Services team inLos Angeles.
 
With more than 15 years of experience, Lu will serve as a senior vice president, senior private client advisor, and will focus on new client development and service to the bank’s high-net-worth clients inLos Angeles. These services include tailored investment management, trust, credit and banking services for high-net-worth families, select nonprofits and professional services firms. She will advise on comprehensive wealth management strategies and private banking solutions.
 
Lu will report to Scott Witter, a senior vice president and manager of Private Client Services inLos Angeles. She will be based at City National’s downtown headquarters.

Lu previously served as executive director and senior client advisor forUBSWealth Management International where she has worked since 2002 in such locations asZurich,New YorkandMiami. Before that, she was with Deloitte & Touche. She has a bachelor’s degree from UCLA and a master of international management degree from Thunderbird, The American Graduate School of International Management inArizona.
 
Michael Scott will serve as a vice president and senior private client advisor in downtownLos Angelesand will also report to Witter. Formerly with TIAA-CREF Trust Company as a senior portfolio manager inPasadena, Scott also worked for Bank of America for nearly six years in its private advisory services division. He has an undergraduate degree from theUniversityofSouthern Californiaand is a chartered financial analyst.
