LAS VEGAS, NV
– City National Bank today announced that it has hired longtime Nevada banking and investment professional Patricia Perl as vice president and Preferred Banking
Advisory in its Core Banking Division. Perl is a seasoned veteran of the banking industry who has worked in the industry in southern Nevada for nearly 25 years.
In her new capacity, Perl will be responsible for working with branch managers and staff of the bank’s five branches in southern Nevada, as well as credit personnel and the bank’s Private Client Services group to develop new business opportunities with high net worth individuals who are looking for the gateway to financial solutions. She will also network through various civic and trade organizations to generate new opportunities and to promote City National.
Perl will report to John Wilcox, senior vice president and regional banking manager of City National’s Core Banking Division in Nevada. Perl will be located at the bank’s Summerlin Regional Banking Center in Las Vegas, but will spend the majority of her time out of the office networking with business contacts both inside and outside of the bank.
“We are very excited to have Patti join our growing team of banking professionals who know and understand the banking industry as well as the local market,” said Wilcox. “Talented bankers like Patti are looking to work for a strong financial institution like City National because of the safety and soundness we provide to both our clients and colleagues.”
Perl most recently served as vice president and senior client manager in Bank of America’s Premier Banking and Investments Group. During her tenure with BofA, Perl also served as vice president and banking center manager. Perl began her banking career in Nevada with PriMerit Bank in 1983 as vice president and manager of the Consumer Call Center.
Perl attended Youngstown State University in Youngstown, Ohio, where she studied Business Administration. She also attended the Dale Carnegie Institute in Las Vegas, where she studied customer service and sales, and employee development. Perl also has NASD and FINRA Series 6 and 63 investment licenses, and is Life Insurance certified in the State of Nevada.
Perl has been actively involved in the community serving as a volunteer for United Way of Southern Nevada, the Exploring program with the Boy Scouts of America Boulder Dam Area Council, and March of Dimes. She enjoys spending time with her husband and two adult children.
