City National Bank today announced that it has hired longtime banking veteran Randy Boesch as senior vice president and manager of its Private Client Service
group in Nevada. Boesch is a well-known Nevadan who joins City National with over 35 years of experience in the financial services industry.
In his new capacity, Boesch will oversee client service and retention, business development and investment management for the bank’s high net worth clients and prospects. He will manage a staff of eight colleagues housed in offices in Las Vegas and Reno. Boesch will spend time in both facilities located at 10801 W. Charleston Blvd., in Las Vegas, and 6490 So. McCarran Blvd., Suite 31, in Reno.
Boesch reports to Michael Pagano, executive vice president and manager of the City National’s Private Client Services Division, and will work very closely with Larry Charlton, senior vice president and Nevada regional executive. Boesch and his team will also work very closely with the Core Banking Division, Commercial Banking Services and the Real Estate Division sourcing new business from affluent clients and prospects.

Boesch most recently served as president and CEO of Red Rock Community Bank. He began his career in banking in 1974 with First National Bank of Nevada. During his tenure in banking, Boesch has also worked for First Interstate Bank and Wells Fargo Bank. He has held several positions throughout his career, including branch operations officer, branch loan officer, branch manager, corporate real estate loan officer, training and employment officer, and regional human resources manager.
Boesch graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management. He is also a graduate of the Leadership Las Vegas program through the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce, the American Bankers Association of Human Resources School, and the Mortgage Bankers Association Income Property Finance School. He also maintains Securities Exchange Commission Series 7 and 66 investment licenses.
Boesch is a member of the UNLV Alumni Association and the Rotary Club of Las Vegas. He has also served on several nonprofit boards such as the Boys and Girls Club, United Way Campaign Cabinet, Southern Nevada Clean Communities, Las Vegas Executives Association, and the American Institute of Banking.
