LAS VEGAS, May 7, 2008 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) - City National Bank today announced that it continues to grow and expand its Private Banking and Wealth Management area in Nevada with the hiring of two highly regarded investment bankers in the Las Vegas and Reno markets. The bank announced that it has hired Jane Standish as a private banking officer for its Las Vegas office and Jenna Guy as an investment trust associate for its Reno office.
Standish joins City National with more than 23 years of experience in the banking industry. Previously, she worked for Bank of America Nevada and its predecessor bank, Valley Bank of Nevada, as a market administrator in the Global Wealth and Investment Management Division.
Prior to joining City National, Standish spent her entire banking career with Bank of America serving in a variety of areas. She worked for a number of years as a sales and service associate in the Private Banking area, as well as a credit support officer in the Commercial Banking and Gaming Division, and as a paralegal assistant in the Legal Department. She also spent time as an executive assistant for the bank's head of operations and retail administration.
Standish is a graduate of the University of Nevada, Reno, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Psychology. She also has a number of securities and investment licenses, including Series 6, 7, 9, 10, 63 and 65. Standish is also actively involved in the community serving as a volunteer or board member of several nonprofit organizations, including the We Care Foundation, The Las Vegas Roundup and United Way of Southern Nevada.

Guy, who has nearly eight years of experience in the investment banking industry, joins City National from First National Bank of Nevada, where she worked in the wealth management area for nearly three years. She joined First National Bank in 2005 as an administrative assistant.
Guy began her banking career with Wells Fargo Bank in Reno in 2001 and spent time in a number of areas throughout the bank, including administrative assistant, profiler and more. She is certified by the Gallup Organization as a "Profiler."
Guy attended the University of Nevada, Reno, following her graduation from Sparks High School, where she graduated with honors. She majored in Engineering while attending UNR. Guy is also working towards earning a number of securities and investment licenses, including her Series 6, 7, 63 and 65.
Guy is actively involved in the community serving as a board member or volunteer for a number of nonprofit and charitable endeavors. Some of her involvement in the community includes United Way of Northern Nevada, the American Lung Association and the Great Reno Balloon Races.
