LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 3, 2006--City National Bank,California's Premier Private and Business Bank(R), today announcedthat Vice President Gregory T. Glover has been promoted to senior vicepresident and manager of the Core Banking Division's Northside region.

In this position, Glover will be responsible for the financialperformance and growth of 16 City National banking offices fromVentura to Pasadena. He also will oversee client service andretention, business development and branch operations, with themanagers of those offices reporting directly to him. He replacesSenior Vice President Marti Hodgdon, who recently was named PrivateBanking segment manager for the bank.

Glover joined the bank in 2004 as manager of its Camarillo bankingoffice. Based at City National's Ventura County Regional Center inOxnard, Calif., he now will report directly to Kevin Dunigan,executive vice president and head of the company's Core BankingDivision.

Glover has more than 15 years of experience in the financialservices industry and holds a bachelor's degree in businessadministration from the University of Redlands. He also completed athree-year program through Pacific Coast Banking School in Seattle,Wash.

He and his wife, Patty, have three children and reside inCamarillo, Calif. Glover serves on the boards of the Boys and GirlsClub of Camarillo and Pleasant Valley Education Foundation.
