LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 4, 2005--City National Bankannounced today that it will contribute up to $50,000 to the AmericanRed Cross International Response Fund and Save the Children to helpvictims of the South Asia Tsunami.

In addition to pledging an initial contribution of $25,000, CityNational will match as much as $25,000 in donations from itscolleagues. All donations will be forwarded as directed by individualcontributors to either the American Red Cross International ResponseFund or Save the Children.
