– City National Bank, Nevada’s Premier Private and Business Bank®, today announced that it has hired Bill Oakley as vice president and relationship manager for its Commercial Banking
Services group in Las Vegas. Oakley is a 20-year veteran of the banking industry and joins City National from Stable Development, LLC., an office development company headquartered in Las Vegas.
In his new capacity, Oakley’s responsibilities include developing new middle market commercial clients through referrals and calling efforts as well as underwriting and packaging commercial loan requests. He will network through various civic and trade organizations to generate new business opportunities and to promote City National. He will also work very closely with other areas of the bank, such as Core Banking and Private Client Services, to enhance existing relationships and develop new business.
Oakley’s office is located at the bank’s Las Vegas Regional Center in Summerlin at 10801 West Charleston Blvd., Suite 250. He reports directly to Vince Telles, senior vice president and Nevada manager of Commercial Banking Services for City National.

Prior to joining City National, Oakley served as managing director-capital resources for Stable Development, LLC. During his professional career in the real estate and financial services industry, Oakley has served in a variety of positions for a number of companies and banks, including Mutual of Omaha Bank and its predecessor First National Bank of Nevada and Arizona, where he served as regional president for southern Nevada. He also worked at Wells Fargo Bank in Arizona and its predecessors, Norwest Bank of Arizona, Bank of Arizona, and First Interstate Bank of Arizona.
Oakley is a Cum Laude graduate of the University of Arizona, Tucson, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. He also earned a certification from the Wright Group Executive Leadership Coaching Program in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Oakley is very active in the community serving as a board member or volunteer for a number of nonprofit organizations. His community involvement includes Opportunity Village Foundation, where he currently serves as a board of director and committee member of Finance/Investment, and Audit. He was an active member of TEC/Vistage International’s Las Vegas Group, an advisory board member of the Nevada Development Fund, and an executive advisory board member of the UNLV Department of Finance.
