Based at City National's Orange County Regional Center in Irvine, Calif.,Browning will help develop and execute personal investment, trust and financialplanning strategies for affluent clients throughout the county. He replacesDavid Reagan, who has taken the newly created role of private client advisor,serving as relationship manager for City National's investment-oriented clients.

Previously, Browning served as partner-in-charge of financial counselingservices for Deloitte & Touche's Western Region from 1997 to 2000 and was apartner at the accounting firm of Wright, Ford, Browning & Young for five years.He began his career in 1984 with Ernst & Young and was named senior manager in1992.
The Mission Viejo resident holds a law degree from Northwestern School of Law ofLewis & Clark College in Portland, Ore., and earned a bachelor's degree inaccounting from the University of Montana. He is a licensed certified publicaccountant in California and Montana and a licensed attorney in California andOregon.
Browning is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants,the California Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American BarAssociation, and serves as a member of the board of directors for the AmericanHeart Association in Orange County.
