LAS VEGAS, NV – City National Bank, Nevada’s Premier Private and Business Bank®, today announced that it has hired Susan Lopez as vice president and branch manager of its North Summerlin branch in northwest Las Vegas.  Lopez is a 17-year veteran of the banking industry and joins City National from the Bank of George.
 
In her new capacity, Lopez will be responsible for all branch sales and servicing related responsibilities, as well as managing the staff of her branch.  She will network through various civic and trade organizations to generate new business opportunities and to promote City National.  She will also work very closely with other areas of the bank, such as Commercial Banking Services and Private Client Services, to enhance existing relationships and develop new business.
 
As manager of the bank’s North Summerlin branch, Lopez will be located at 8531 West Lake Mead Boulevard near Rampart.  Lopez will report directly to John Wilcox, senior vice president and Nevada regional banking manager for City National.

Prior to joining City National, Lopez served as vice president and business relationship manager for the Bank of George.  During her professional career in the financial services industry, Lopez has served in a variety of positions for several banks, including Community Bank of Nevada where she also served as business relationship manager, U.S. Bank where she served as branch manager, and Bank of America where she began her banking career in 1993.
 
Lopez is a graduate of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management.  She also earned a number of certificates from the American Institute of Banking (AIB), including Accounting, Finance, Bank Operations and more.
 
Lopez is very active in the community serving as a board member or volunteer for a number of nonprofit organizations.  Her community involvement includes the UNLV Foundation, Junior Achievement of Southern Nevada, Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce, Andre Agassi Foundation and the Women’s Chamber of Commerce.
