LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 19, 2006--City National Bank,California's Premier Private and Business Bank(R), announced todaythat Senior Vice President Marti Hodgdon has been named PrivateBanking segment manager.

In this newly created position, Hodgdon will be responsible fordeveloping and driving Private Banking strategies, programs andproducts for City National. She also will oversee the ProfessionalServices Segment of the Private Bank, which specializes in serving allof the financial needs of law firms, CPAs and medical practices.

Hodgdon, who joined the bank in 1995, has been serving for thepast nine years as Northside regional manager for City National's CoreBanking Division, overseeing 16 branches from Ventura to Pasadena. Shenow will report to Dallas Haun, executive vice president and managerof California Commercial and Private Banking Services.

Hodgdon and her two children reside in Agoura Hills, Calif. Sheserves on the Domestic Violence Services Advisory Board for InterfaceChildren Family Services, a nonprofit organization that providesquality care and services to women, children and families in needthroughout Ventura County.
