LAS VEGAS, NV – City National Bank, Nevada’s Premier Private and Business Bank®, today announced that it has appointed Robert Young, a prominent member of the Asian business community, to its Southern Nevada Advisory Board. Young also serves as the chairman of the Asian Chamber of Commerce.
Professionally, Young serves as senior vice president for Chenco Holdings, a holding company that consists of several commonly-held companies operating in the United States, Taiwan and Mainland China. The company specializes in real estate investment and management, real estate development consulting, funds management, venture capital, and merchant banking. Young manages the company’s real estate investment and management business endeavors.

Prior to joining Chenco Holdings in 2004, Young served for 15 years as a private banker with Merrill Lynch and Citibank where he managed more than $60 million in investments. Young also served as vice president for 10 years with Merrill Lynch Capital Market in the Commercial Real Estate Division.
Young graduated with an executive MBA in marketing from UCLA and received a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation in 1986. He holds US securities license series 3, 7, 22, 63 and 65.
In addition to serving as chairman of the Asian Chamber of Commerce, Young also serves as a director for United Way of Southern Nevada and the Better Business Bureau, and chairman of the Credit Committee for American Premier Bank in Arcadia, California. He is also a frequent speaker for ‘How to do business with Asian Enterprises’.
The bank currently has 10 prominent business professionals serving on its advisory board in southern Nevada.
