The building at 555 South Flower Street has served as the company's administrative center since 2004.
“This is a logical evolution in the growth of City National, which is the largest bank headquartered in Los Angeles,” said Chairman and CEO Russell Goldsmith. “For more than 55 years, we have had a deep and growing commitment to Los Angeles and its entrepreneurs, professionals, businesses and communities. We now have 16 banking offices in the City of Los Angeles and a total of 30 branches and two other key operation centers in Los Angeles County. About 1,000 of our 2,900 colleagues work downtown at City National Plaza – more than in any other single location.”
City National occupies approximately 381,000 square feet of commercial space on 15 floors at City National Plaza. The 51-story building and its adjacent City National Plaza banking office also house the bank's Los Angeles Regional Center.
City National Center in Beverly Hills has served as the company's corporate headquarters since 1955 and will continue to house all of the operations it does today. Among them are the bank's Entertainment and Wealth Management divisions, its Personal Trust and Westside Private Client Services units plus the Beverly Hills banking office. A number of executive offices will continue there as well.
