SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 15, 2000--City National Bank (NYSE:CYN) today announced the appointment of Deborah Huffman to senior vice president and manager of Private Banking in San Diego.
Huffman, a 28-year veteran of the financial services industry, will manage City National's highly successful private banking team based in downtown San Diego's Symphony Tower. The team serves the asset management and credit needs of some of the region's most affluent individuals and successful entrepreneurs.

Huffman, a San Diego County resident for more than 30 years, lives in Carlsbad and is an active member of the greater San Diego community. She has been Chair of the Metro Wastewater Projects Oversight Committee since its inception eight years ago and serves on the Finance Committee for the Neighborhood Housing Services of San Diego. Huffman also served on the Metropolitan Sewer Task Force for the City of San Diego and as chair of the City of San Diego Funds Commission.
In addition to her professional activities, Huffman is an instructor for the American Red Cross, works on Ski Patrol and is a certified Dive Master.
