Ernesto Alvarez has joined the bank as a vice president and private client advisor on the Westside.
Alvarez, who has more than 10 years of experience meeting the financial needs of high-net-worth clients in
Southern California, will report to
Kevin McCarthy, senior vice president, manager for private client services.

Prior to joining
, Alvarez was a senior private banker for the
Wealth Management Group at
in Encino, where he served the needs of affluent clients. Before that, Alvarez worked for
Bank of America
Pasadena where he served as a private client advisor, managing existing relationships and helping to gain new ones.
Alvarez earned his undergraduate degree in political science, with a concentration in public fiscal administration, from
San Jose State University.
He is currently a CIMA Level II candidate administered by The Wharton Executive Education Program at The
University of Pennsylvania and currently holds FINRA Series 7, Series 66, Series 65, Series 6, and Series 63 licenses.
He is also an active member of the
Investment Management Consultants Association and past member of the
Latino Business Association.
