LAS VEGAS, NV
– City National Bank today announced that it has hired longtime Las Vegan Jeff Jarvis as vice president and business development officer in its Commercial Banking Services
(CBS) group in Las Vegas. Jarvis is a well-known banking professional who has worked in the financial services industry in southern Nevada for more than 22 years.
In his new capacity, Jarvis will be responsible for developing new client relationships through referrals and calling efforts. He will network through various civic and trade organizations to generate new business opportunities and to promote City National.
Jarvis will report to Christine Larson, senior vice president and business development sales manager of the bank’s Commercial Banking Services Division, but he will work very closely with Vince Telles, senior vice president and Las Vegas CBS manager, and John Wilcox, senior vice president and Nevada regional banking manager. Jarvis will have an office at the bank’s Summerlin Regional Banking Center at 10801 W. Charleston Blvd., but he will spend the majority of his time in the field calling on local businesses throughout the Las Vegas valley.

Prior to joining City National, Jarvis served as senior vice president and business development officer for Service 1st Bank. Jarvis spent the better part of his banking career with Bank of America serving as client development manager, business banking manager, branch manager, customer service manager, personal banker and a variety of other positions spanning 20 years.
Jarvis is a graduate of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management. He has also earned a number of certificates through the American Institute of Banking (AIB), including Principles of Banking, Accounting, Finance, and more.
Jarvis is very active in the community serving as a member of several professional or trade associations. Some of these groups include the Las Vegas Chamber, North Las Vegas Chamber, Henderson Chamber, Latin Chamber, Stirling Club Networking Group, and more.
