LAS VEGAS, NV – City National Bank today announced that Marc Goldstein, vice president and personal trust officer in Nevada, recently completed the Cannon Trust School with top honors and earned the prestigious Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA) designation from American Bankers Association’s Institute of Certified Bankers.  Goldstein joins an elite group of trust officers at City National and throughout the banking industry who have earned this industry designation.
 
Goldstein began attending the Cannon Trust School and pursuing his CTFA designation in 2008.  He joined City National in 2006 and transferred to Nevada in 2008 to head up the bank’s personal trust, investment management and custody business.  Goldstein is located at the bank’s Summerlin Regional Center in Las Vegas as 10801 W. Charleston Blvd.

Prior to joining City National in 2006, Goldstein served as a relationship manager with Citigroup Private Bank in Los Angeles.  His primary responsibilities were to develop and manage relationships on behalf of the Law Firm group.  Goldstein began his private banking career with JP Morgan Private Bank in 1998 where he served in various roles both domestically and internationally.

Goldstein is a graduate of the Wharton Management Program and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from California State University, San Bernardino.  He currently holds his Series 7 and 63 Securities Licenses, as well as the Certified Financial Planner™ certification from the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc., and has completed a certificate in Personal Financial Planning from UCLA.  He has also served as a member of the United States Air Force.
